Let this summer course introduce you to the fundamentals of Finance & Accounting. This course provides a delightful learning experience that will, lead to in-depth knowledge of the management of a company, from a financial point of view. Furthermore, after teaching the fundamentals, we will add both a Strategy and Marketing perspective.
The course starts with providing insight in strategic concepts of mission, vision and strategy. After this, the interrelation of Finance, Accounting & Marketing are addressed. Next, we cover the basic concepts of the marketing mix, Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning (STP)and head on to marketing return concepts and brand- and customer valuation. The entire course is brought from a managerial perspective where planning and control, advanced allocation techniques and variance analysis is covered.
During the course students reside and are taught on Nyenrode’s beautiful 13th Century Castle Estate
